Breaking Cheesy Norms   We are a family-owned business that has been in the heart of Ohio’s Amish country since 1935. Our grandfather, the original owner of Bunker Hill, trained as a master cheesemaker in Switzerland, who then came to the United States in the 1920s to display his artisan talents. The family business continues, to this day, to be one of the premier outlets for our local farmers. To keep the freshness of our product, we make cheeses Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Given the current state of our society, we are not actively giving guided tours or free cheese samples; however, guests are welcome to provide themselves with a self-guided tour around the facility while the cheese is being made.  We pride ourselves in pleasing our guests with homemade treats from gift boxes, cheeses, specialty meats, chocolates, and other sweets.
